Best surprise this week!

I got a surprise package in the mail and LOVE it! My friends know me too well -- I don't think you can ever be too old to love anything that has a bow...nor can you be too old to love anything Lilly Pulitzer.

I love this market bag -- Thank you Rachel!!!! I can now go to farmer's markets in style not too mention show some class at Publix for my groceries!!

First Pinterest-inspired Design

I saw this color gray and thought my white kitchen cabinets -- although old -- would look good against a light gray wall color.

One more day until closing! I'm going to upload my project to do list soon, but thought I might as well include my wish list...These are projects I hope to accomplish in the next year (and not so much during my first month of move-in).

First project: Built in Bookshelves for the Living Room

Second Project: Wainscoting in the Dining Room

Third Project: Build a Piergola in the Backyard/Porch area

I love living rooms that are decorated in all white. Perhaps I can use this as inspiration for my brick fireplace...

Closing Date

Three more days until closing on my new home! Hmm...what should my first project be? Perhaps re-painting the picket fence and trellis with a fresh coat of white?
